Welcome to Troop 845

We are the Boy Scouts of America Troop 845 in Coppell, Texas, chartered by Coppell Bible Fellowship. We are a troop with a Christian focus, our troop number comes from Psalm 84:5 "Blessed is the man whose strength is in the Lord.."

Our Troop cheer is "We Are Troop Eight-Four-Five, We Are Blessed!"

We meet on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm at the church and invite you to visit and learn more about us.


Webloree & OA Callout Campout on Sat, 4/29

Join us for the day at Camp Wisdom as we teach Webelos about first aid.  This is a troop-wide event, so plan to attend and serve our cub scouts at one of the two shifts.  Activities are from 9a-5p with campfire at 6pm.

We will meet at CBF at 7:00am and return about 8:30pm.  Shift 1: 7:00am to 1:25pm (Includes lunch at camp). Shift 2: 12:00pm to 6:15pm (Includes lunch and dinner at camp).  Both shifts can attend the campfire at 6:15pm and Callout.

In addition, the OA Callout is at 7pm (during the campfire) and all eligible OA scouts will need to attend.

Clean Coppell Service Project - April 22nd

Take an active role in cleaning up Coppell streets, parks, and neighborhoods! Community groups from all around town will come together to do litter cleanups and beautification projects.  

Give back to Coppell and earn service hours on Saturday, April 22nd.  Sign up online.

David Dennis Eagle Project Help Needed - Sign Up Online

David Dennis needs your help with his Eagle Service Project on Saturday May 13 from 8:00am to 1:00pm.  He is building a Butterfly Sanctuary at Fairhill School.  You are going to plant various types of plants that attract butterflies.  For this project he will need six volunteers to help install these plants.  Please bring your gardening/work gloves.  You will be able to get service hours from this project and lunch will be provided.

Congratulations to Mr. Gary Scott, recipient of Circle Ten's highest award, The Silver Beaver Award.  The Silver Beaver Award recognizes registered Scouters of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service within a council.  Less than 0.2% adults acheive this honor.  

Join us as we celebrate Mr. Scott's award and thank him for his servant leadership in our troop, in our district and in our council.  Well done!


Bartle Summer Camp - Camp Lone Star: Jun 24-Jul 4

Join our troop for one of our favorite summer camps.  The H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, located in Osceola, Missouri, is home to over 6,600 Boy Scouts and 3,000 leaders each summer. The 4,200 acre reservation consists of three camps Lone Star, Sawmill, and Piercing Arrow and the Osage Wilderness Trail. The H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation has been a summer home to Scouting and it’s honor camping program the Tribe of Mic-O-Say since 1929.
